Lass es länger leben - Wie Kleidung länger hält

Let it live longer - How clothes last longer

Our Care Tips

We have carefully selected our materials to have the lowest environmental and social impact and to provide the best product for you.

However, it is equally important to make the right care choices to extend the life of your product and maintain its quality over time.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 1

Wash with cold water

Warm water washes use up to 75% more energy and are more likely to bleed dyes and cause shrinkage.

You save money and extend the life of your clothes when you wash cold.

Side tip: If you want to use hot water for antibacterial purposes, add ½ a cup of white vinegar with 20 to 25 drops of tea tree oil, which can be just as effective.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 2

Wash less

It's one of the easiest ways to start.

Often you can skip a cycle by simply airing out your clothes.

You can then accumulate more clothes and fill your washing machine to make your energy and water consumption more efficient.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 3

Air dry

Stay away from tumble dryers, they can seriously damage your clothes.

Hang your clothes on a drying rack or hanger, and remember to hang delicate and colored clothes inside out so they don't fade in the sun.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 4

Use the right detergent

Avoid products containing phthalates, phosphates, non-biodegradable surfactants, sulfates, or chlorine.

This way you will make your laundry healthier for your skin and our planet.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 5

Observe the care label

Don't get creative here, the label is right.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 6

Steam or Over-iron

If necessary, we recommend steaming instead of ironing, as it is gentler on the fabric fibers.

Most garments do not need to be ironed if you wash them on a delicate cycle and gently shake or stretch them when they come out of the washing machine and hang the garment to dry.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS - TIP 7

Stains

If you get a stain on your garment, treat the area immediately.

Natural materials like cotton, linen, and wool generally absorb a lot, which means the longer you wait, the harder it will be to remove the stain.
